NMV member researching at the library When the NMV opened a library many years ago, the goal was to provide resources to support the group’s guiding and study group activities.

Now, the NMV Library has become a core resource for members to use for a variety of purposes. Our 3,500-volume collection covers the arts, history, religion, and culture of Thailand and Southeast Asia.

Most of the books are in English, with some titles in Chinese, French, German, Spanish and Thai.

Book: Art of SE AsiaIn addition, we have a collection of pamphlets, magazines on Art and Culture such as Art of Asia, Aseanie, and Sawaddi and archives of excursion files and study groups. We also maintain a slide library with more than 17,000 slides and some videos. And we keep all the Newsletter from 1969 in yearly bound volumes.

As expatriates, our volunteers are always on the move. To keep the Library working smoothly, we are constantly in need of volunteers. We provide training if you do not have Library experience.
